Have you seen this verb pattern before?

If you are not sure what a verb pattern is – don’t panic! I’ll explain it in detail in another blog post/video.

For now, remember that if you use a verb after ‘prevent’, ALWAYS use the structure ‘prevent sth/sb from doing/happening‘.
